Virkkaisinkohan? - Should I crochet?

Kesä on virkkaamisen aikaa mulla ainakin.

Bryan Griffin A Crochet Pattern by Erin Scull

For me summer time is all about crocheting. I don't know if it the sun wich does it or what. But then when I look at my Ravelry projetc page there is not much crocheted there. Is it because the sunny time in Finland is so short? I don't think so. In my mind it is because there is just so much you can crochet.
I don't care about amigurumis, tho I've made a few in my days.  Same goes for doilies and cloths, and other household nick nacks.
Most of the crochet patterns are lacy or see through wich I'm not a fan of. Or if they're not then they are too bulky and thick for my taste.
I've crocheted only one usefull accessorie in my days, Alpaca Angel by Kristin Omdahl (see pic. above) and that I use almost every day from spring to fall. Mine is made from bamboo and it is super soft!
I really like that pattern, it's easy and quick to crochet and it looks damn good! Unfortunetaly there's no use to make another one :(

So if any of you have a nice crochet pattern in mind foe me, I'd love to see it!

I'd better get back to my doing of nothing since I'm on sick leave and my fingers and wrists are in no condition of pickin up needles or a hook. I think I'll draw some cables instead ;)
