Liian kauan sitten - It's been way too long

Viimeksi kun bloggasin maailmani oli erilainen. Yritän nyt jatkaa. Lähempi tarkastelu osoittaa että "muutama" uusi malli on jäänyt esittelemättä, uups!

Last time I blogged my world was a very different place. It's time to pick up the pieces and carry on. A couple of new designs has left uncovered so I'll start with them!

Free Fall - Dropped Stitch Tank Top Knitting Pattern

  Free Fall This top was originally designed, by me, in 2010. It was my entry in a designer challenge themed One Skein Wonder. For the smallest size you need 1 skein of Worsted weight cotton yarn. See my recommendations below. Sizes S [M, L] to fit bust size: 75-80 [85-90, 95-100] cm or 30/32 [34/36, 38/40] inch. Yarn 1 [2, 2] skeins of Worsted (9 wpi) weight cotton yarn, 196 m (214 yards) / 100 g. Needles 4.5 mm (US 7) short circular needle Long circular needle size 5 mm (US 8) or to obtain gauge. Gauge 18 sts and 20 rows = 10 cm (4 inch) in stockinette st. Notions 2 stitch marker Scrap yarn to mark drop stitches Scrap yarn to rest stitches on Notes Mark all yo increased stitches with scrap yarn. They will be dropped at the end. It's adventure time!  Yarn 200 g of Super Bulky, 100 m (109 yd’s) / 100 g (109 yards) Needles One set of dpn’s and short circular needle or circular needle for magic loop 7 mm or to obtain gauge Gauge  15 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm (4 inch) Notions 1 stitch marker Taspestry needle 8 mm crochet hook Sizes Finished head circumference 54 [56, 58, 60] cm (21.5 [22, 22.75, 23.5] inch)   Abbreviations BO = Bind off CO = Cast on K = Knit Kbf = Knit into front and back of a stitch P = Purl Rnd(s) = Round(s) RS = Right side (of the work facing) st(s) = Stitches WS = Wrong (back) side of the work facing     Pattern starts!     Ears, make 2   CO 4 st and divide them evenly on the needles, join to work in rounds, place marker to mark the beginning of the round.   Rnd 1: Kbf 4 times. 8 sts Rnd 2: K to end.
